What it is

Daily application produces a pattern closer to the body's own rhythm, and because nothing is sitting in a depot it clears quickly — which makes it easier to stop or change. For men who would rather not inject, that combination is the whole argument. A controlled substance requiring a prescription.
How it is used
Applied once daily to clean, dry skin at the site your provider specifies, at about the same time each day. The one rule that matters: it can transfer by skin contact, so let it dry, wash your hands, and cover the area before close contact. What to discuss with your provider
Tell your provider about prostate or breast cancer, heart disease, high haematocrit, sleep apnoea, any skin condition at the application site, and any plans to have children. Critically, tell them who you live with — transfer to women and children is a real risk and shapes where it is applied.
